Shelli Nickel

Shelli Nickel is a commercial real estate attorney with over 25 years of practice, specializing in commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects across retail, office, industrial, restaurant, and hotel sectors. She adeptly represents both national and regional quick service restaurant (QSR) clients, managing all aspects of the leasing process, including lease negotiations, due diligence, and construction-related issues. Her proficiency extends to developing resolution strategies for complex development and due diligence challenges, ensuring comprehensive support for her clients.

Shelli earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Oklahoma City University in 1995, where she contributed to the Law Review, participated on the Moot Court Board, and served as President of the Student Government Executive Board. She was also a recipient of the President’s Service Award, recognized on the Faculty Honor Roll, and named a Merit Scholar. In addition, Shelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas, awarded in 1992.

In her free time, Shelli enjoys hiking, traveling, good food and spending time with family.
